The drive to the start of the trek takes about 1.5 hours. You travel in a covered pickup truck.

When will I be back in Chiang Mai?

You arrive back in the city at around 17:00.

What does the day involve?

You walk up a summit trail with views over the valley, then go down to a village for a homemade Thai lunch with local coffee or tea. A short forest walk after lunch takes you to another village, where your driver meets you. The exact trail depends on the conditions of the day.

Transport to and from Chiang Mai city, drinking water during the hike, an English-speaking trekking guide, and a Thai lunch with seasonal fruit.

What is not included?

Drinks at restaurants and local shops, and tips, which are optional.

Good walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and insect repellent. In the rainy season, a light rain jacket is useful.
